How often do you have a meal that you’re still talking about weeks later? Chef Troy Guard’s vibrant and surprising menu will have you doing just that.

TAG is Guard’s flagship restaurant, located in Denver's historic Larimer Square. Described as “Continental Social Food,” Guard’s menu is a culmination of his Hawaiian roots, mixed with extensive travel throughout Asia, and inspiration from local Colorado ingredients.

Their memorable lower level private dining room features a large private bar, exposed foundation, cozy booths, and wall murals. The space is customizable, available to accommodate up to 55 guests for a seated dinner or up to 100 guests for a cocktail reception.

Seafood lovers can enjoy playful plates like the Flash Seared Hamachi with jalapeño, baby tatsoi, japanese myoga, yuzu white soy, and...pop rocks. Because nostalgia is never a bad ingredient. Guard’s sushi rolls are perfectly executed, like the mouthwatering Miso Salmon Roll, combining cucumber, avocado, pickled carrot, lemon, sesame, and a scallion and ginger salad.

Heartier entrees include fish, meat, and vegetarian options. Don’t miss the Miso Black Cod with edamame, shiitake mushrooms, and artichoke or Lamb Sirloin with crispy sunchokes, marble potatoes, port poached white asparagus, and summer squash.

Wine pairings are easy with TAG’s 700-bottle glass wine library. For something a little stronger, the cocktail menu features thirst quenchers like Amante Picante, an elixir of exotico tequilla, cilantro, cucumber and jalapeño.
