Nothing says treat yo’ self quite like June 15’s National Lobster Day. Whether you like your lobster served with a bib, in a roll, or in fancy mac n’ cheese form, we raise a glass to all who celebrate this momentous occasion.
Of course, there’s no better place to partake in National Lobster Day than in New England.
Here’s where you can get the best lobster in Boston this weekend:
In Boston, Jasper White’s Summer Shack is synonymous with the place to eat lobster. Good luck choosing between their steamed and specialty lobsters. Their famous pan roasted lobster (pictured above) is a crowd favorite served with bourbon, chervil, and chives.
If you want to branch out, their Clambake Lobster is served with mussels, clams, potatoes, egg, and chorizo. And of course, there’s always the Lobster Roll route with tarragon mayo, cucumbers, and a potato bun.
Looking for something a little more white tablecloth? Head downtown to Davios. You can sample their lobster from the raw bar, sip on a lobster bisque, or enjoy a decadent Maine Lobster Risotto, with asparagus, fresh herbs, and lobster cream.
Not to be outdone, Davios also has a top-notch pan roasted Lobster served with creamy potatoes, and lemon tarragon butter.
Fin Point has a simple, but powerful culinary promise: New England classics that are both sophisticated & approachable. Their lobster specialties include a classic lobster roll with herbed mayo, a butter toasted roll, and of course, coleslaw and french fries.
For something a little less on the nose, try their Lobster Ravioli with lobster, ricotta, spring mushrooms, light tarragon broth, and oven dried tomatoes.
There you have it; the world is your oyster! Maybe even your...lobster? We hope you have an exquisite time celebrating.
