3 Blowout New Year's Brunches in NYC

At this point, most of us have made our New Year's Eve plans, figuring out where to ring in the new year and who to pop the bubbles with. But have you thought beyond Saturday night -- to brunch on New Year's Day? Here are three epic brunches to quell your NYE hangover and make sure that you start off 2017 in the best way possible.

Peacock Alley at the Waldorf Astoria: Over-the-top does not even begin to describe the legendary brunch at the Waldorf, where the epic buffet ranges from classic omelets and Benedicts to endless oysters and lobster. For the truly decadent only.

Maysville: Brunch is a steal at this popular Flatiron joint, where you can scarf down whiskey-based hair-of-the-dog drinks, monkey bread, and grits with ham.  Staying true to its Southern roots, Maysville will also serve complimentary black-eyed peas and cabbage for the new year.

Ginny's Supper Club: Up in Harlem, Marcus Samuelsson's eatery and live music joint will host the Vy Higginsen Choir for a New Year's Day party, which you'll enjoy alongside Southern-inflected brunch eats like the "Ol' Man's Shrimp & Grits" and "Fried Yardbird" -- and don't forget a super-boozy Bloody.
